A daughter whose dad went missing nearly two years ago says she will ‘never give up hope’ that he will be found.
Kevin Judge, whose 70th birthday is on Sunday, was last seen near his home on Esther Avenue in Lupset when he was dropped off by a taxi driver at 12.30pm on Monday, April 15, 2013.
Police investigating his disappearance know he went into his house but later left without a coat or trilby hat.
Despite a massive police search and nationwide appeals for information his disappearance is still a mystery.
His daughter Lisa Judge, 47, said she would never give up searching for her dad.
She said: “My dad’s disappearance has left the whole family devastated.
“Life really does not get any easier for us. It’s been heartbreaking – my dad missed my graduation and his granddaughter’s 18th birthday.
“His birthday should be a time for celebration, he should be here but isn’t.”
Mr Judge has four children, five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Ms Judge added: “We will be doing something as a family to mark my dad’s birthday, but it will be difficult.”
Ms Judge still visits the pubs her dad used to drink in and believes someone with information might not have yet come forward.
She said: “Someone out there must know something. We’ll keep appealing for information in the hope the right person will see it.
“It might push them into contacting the police, who have done everything they can to help us.
“I’ll never give in, never give up hoping that my dad will turn up.”
Mr Judge is white, 5ft 7in tall, of slim build and with thinning mousey-coloured hair worn in a slicked-back style.
He walks very slowly and had a distinctive full beard when he went missing.
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
