Final call for nominations

So if you want to be in with a chance of some good news this summer you need to get your entry in soon.

At a prestigious event at the Cedar Court Hotel on June 30, the cream of Wakefield commerce and industry will sit alongside the rising stars of the area to celebrate their successes.

Details of all the categories (as above) can also be found on our website www.wakefield express.co.uk, all of which can also be sponsored.

Haribo is supporting the New Business of the Year award, HSBC is sponsoring the International Business of the Year award and Mid Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring the Business of the Year award.

Other categories still available include Business Person of the Year, Community Enterprise award and the Innovation in Business award.

Applications for nominations need to be submitted by company managers or directors and companies can enter more than one category.

We also have an Employee of the Year category, for which nominations can come from anybody, but do get permission from the person you wish to put forward first.

This will be the only category that will be voted for by readers.

Deadline for all nominations is Monday, May 16, and they should be submitted either by email to markbradley@wakefield express.co.uk or by post to Mark Bradley, Wakefield Express, Express House, Southgate, Wakefield, WF1 1TE.
