Firefighters free child locked in car on hot day
A three-year-old child had to be rescued from a car in Ackworth yesterday.
Firefighters from Featherstone smashed the driver’s-side window to free the little girl who had become locked in the car on one of the hottest days of the year so far.
The incident happened at 12.30pm on Low Farm Lane, and the child was looked after by the ambulance service.
