Flat fire in Lupset
Firefighters rescued three people from a flat fire in Lupset in the early hours of this morning.
A crew from Wakefield fire station was called out to a property in Old Crown Road at around 4am to tackle a blaze with three women trapped inside.
The women, all thought to be in their late teens, were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
