The second Tour de Yorkshire drew spectators to venues around the county after Yorkshire first hosted part of the Tour de France in 2014.

Mrs Swinson-Bullough, who runs Dulcie Butterfly Vintage Tearooms and Florist, on High Street, Boston Spa, said: “They were country-style bouquets with colours to match the tops of the riders.

“It was lovely to be part of it. It’s such a big thing now for Yorkshire and every year it’s going to get bigger.”

More than two million spectators watched the three-day Tour de Yorkshire.

Stage two of the race got underway in Otley before passing through South Milford, Monk Fryston, Knottingley, Pontefract, Badsworth and South Elmsall.
