Devoted daughter Seani Armitage and her friends will hold a full day of entertainment in memory of her mum who died after a stroke.

Miss Armitage, along with Harriet and Rosie Booth, have organised The Big Get Together Event following the death of Fiona Thompson in March.

The event, on Saturday, August 8, will include an art exhibition, live music and a clothes swap at Unity Cafe.

It will run from 11am until 11pm and all money raised will go towards the Stroke Association.

The clothes swap will run from 11am until 4pm, there will be live music from 6.30pm until 11pm and the art exhibition will run from 11am until 11pm.

Miss Armitage said: “The charity have been fantastic with me and my family and I just want to give something back.”

The trio are hoping to raise £3,000.
