The company trawled the Paranormal Database, which documents every paranormal/cryptozoological account in all areas of England. To date, 103 areas have been coveredin the UK; 11,900 entries in total with 686 of those in Yorkshire.

Sixteen of these concern manifestations in Wakefield, a number centered around local pubs. Reports range from hearing a woman called Hannah at the Black Horse pub who was killed by a bear in a garden on Westgate; a woman hearing horses falling into the water underneath a bridge on Denby Dale Road - the result of the bridge collapsing in 1836; the sound of miners walking along paths in East Ardsley; strange noises from Harold Shipman's former cell at HMP Wakefield and a woman at Kirkgate Railway Station.
