Each week, one lucky area benefits from money raised through The Health Lottery and there are draws every day from Tuesday to Saturday. This week it is the turn of Leeds and Wakefield’s HealthAmaze Community Interest Company’s (CIC) turn.

Since its first Health Lottery draw in March 2012, HealthAmaze CIC has raised over £1.6 million for community groups in the area, with more than £100 million being raised nationwide.

Past projects have included Harmony Community Choir who provide weekly community choir sessions in East and Central Leeds and Coactive Arts who deliver arts-based activities for people with learning disabilities and autism across Wakefield.

Larger charities and organisations, such as The Conservation Volunteers, have also benefitted from the funds raised by HealthAmaze CIC.
