Heavy delays after cyclist taken to hospital following crash
Motorists faced long delays in Wakefield after a cyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash.
Road closures were in place on Durkar Low Lane, Asdale Road, Standbridge Lane until 8.24am after the incident this morning (Thursday).
Emergency services were called after a male cyclist was involved in the collision with a car at around 6.40am.
Police said the cyclist suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
