A home “suffered severe fire damage” in Havercroft today (Tuesday) after a fire broke out.
Three fire engines rushed to the South Street house at around 3.30pm.
Crew commander Andy Marshall said the blaze started in a caravan or vehicle in the front driveway, but it then spread to the house.
“It was quickly extinguished but the house has suffered severe fire damage,” he added.
Nobody was at the house when the incident occurred, he said.
