Immigration officials carry out raid in city centre
An operation was carried by immigration officers in Wakefield city centre this morning.
Helped by officers from Wakefield police, they attended three addresses on the A642 and Jacob’s Well Lane area, and one commercial property.
A Home Office van was spotted parked next to the Jet garage this morning.
However, they found no offenders and subsequently, no arrests were made.
