Organiser Ali Bullivent said: “What an amazing and powerful day in our beautiful cathedral, it has been an absolute success.”

And last Friday, a round-table womens-only dinner was held at Iris Restaurant, organised by Gill Laidler and Claire Young.

Speakers on the day included the Hepworth Gallery who spoke about “reclaiming Barbara Hepworth as our own” and the impact she had on Wakefield as a renowned sculptor who was born and brought up here.
