The chosen films will be screened - along with a UK exclusive of The Martian - on Saturday, February 27.

Steve Peterson, general manager of the cinema, said: “It’s no surprise that Jurassic World has been chosen as the film the people of Castleford would most love to bring back to the big screen in Imax – it was one of the biggest films of 2015 and we know lots of people are dying to have a chance to see it in Imax again.”

Imax features a much larger high definition screen, along with powerful digital sound and crystal-clear digital projection.

Tickets cost £3 per film and can be booked in advance online at www.cineworld.com/imax-film-fest
