Letter - All a credit to the NHS

At 7pm on Sunday, April 1 my wife went into Pinderfields Hospital after going into labour with our second child.

The whole episode was a long and drawn-out affair which finally led to a emergency C-section at 8.30am the following day.

From the moment we went into hospital until the moment we left, the staff on the labour and maternity ward were absolutly fantastic. It’s hard for me to describe in words how good they were through the whole, what at times was quite a traumatic, experience for my wife.

It would be wrong of me to single out any inparticular member of staff as every person involved down the line did their job with such care and pride in their work. Everybody working there are a credit to the NHS and this country and thanks to their quick thinking and acting we now have a wonderful baby boy. Thank you.
