TWO Wakefield men beat up two paramedics, trash the ambulance, and the lady ambulance driver is injured and off work for months (Wakefield Express, March 4). They are convicted of assault, given an eight-week curfew order, a stop binge-drinking programme, and a fine.
In January it was reported that a mother tied up her addicted daughter in an attempt to prevent her from meeting, and buying drugs from, a heroin dealer. She is given 12 months in jail.
