Stephanie Price from Normanton missed her last appointment with her dentist, and due to the coronavirus outbreak was unable to make an appointment.

Suffering from agonising toothache, as a last resort she managed to yank it out herself.

It had already come loose but she was able finish the job, pulling the offending tooth out along with the roots. She admitted there was some blood, but swilled her mouth out with salt water.

The single mum said: “I was shocked when I saw it come out, I couldn’t believe it.

“I think I did a better job than the dentist do!

“I’ve kept the tooth and have shown my friends and they couldn’t believe that I’d done it.

“I’m not sure I would be able to do it again.”
