“We are working hard to ensure disruption to traffic and local residents is kept to a minimum which is why work will be taking place overnight when traffic flows are lower.”

During the resurfacing work, the entry slip road will be fully closed to traffic and drivers will be directed along a clearly signed diversion route via the A655 to junction 32 to join the M62 on the westbound carriageway. On the M62 westbound, lanes 1 and 2 will be closed for the work to take place, with traffic passing in lane 3.
