Man drove wrong way on M1 motorway
A man who drove the wrong way down the M1 motorway in the early hours of Sunday morning was arrested.
Police were called to reports of a car travelling south on the northbound carriageway near junction 45 for the A63 at round 5.25am.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police’s Roads Policing Unit arrested a 42-year-old man on suspicion of dangerous driving.
He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
