Man held after canal boat break-in
A man is being questioned by police after a canal boat was broken into in Castleford.
Officers were called to a boat on the River Aire just off Navigation Road at around 1.45am this morning (Monday).
A police spokesman said a couple on the boat were woken up by the noise and called the police.
A 61-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and remains in custody.
