Man seriously injured after falling from bridge
A man is in hospital with serious injuries after falling from a bridge in Knottingley.
The man fell from Knottingley Road onto the A162 Ferrybridge Bypass at around 8.40am on Sunday, August 2.
Emergency services including the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called to the scene and the man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
A police spokeswoman said his injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
