Men charged in connection with burglary at 95-year-old woman’s home

Two men have been charged in connection with the burglary of a deaf, partially sighted 95-year-old woman’s flat in Eastmoor, Wakefield.

David Gordon Whalin, 54, of The Lane, Nottingham, has been charged with one count of burglary on December 18 2014 and one count of attempted burglary on January 13 this year.

Scott Larcombe, 35, of Woodfield Road, Nottingham, has been charged with one count of attempted burglary on January 13 this year.

Both men are due to appear at Wakefield Magistrates’ Court this morning (Thursday).
