Men flee scene of accident in Featherstone

The driver and his passenger fled from the scene after the VW Golf they were travelling in hit another car before ending up in the garden.

Officers from Normanton and Featherstone neighbourhood police team (NPT) were called to Alexander Crescent in Featherstone at around 9.50am this morning (Monday).

A police spokesman said the Golf came to rest in a garden and caused a “considerable” amount of damage.

The occupants of the car were described as Asian, around 25 to 30 years-old, and were seen running off towards Featherstone Lane.
