Mercedes thugs’ road rage attack

A MAN was chased and then abused by two thugs in a Mercedes car.

The victim was at the junction of Thornes Road and Horbury Road in Lupset when he was over taken by a silver Mercedes saloon car which mounted the kerb.

He carried on driving along towards Horbury when the same car passed again.

The passenger threw something out of his window which hit the victim’s car. It caused both cars to brake sharply.

The driver and passenger of the Mercedes got out of the car and started shouting and swearing at the victim, then they started to kick his car.

The victim drove off but he was followed again by the Mercedes.

But later it turned up Netherton Lane and drove towards Netherton and Middlestown.

The driver of the Mercedes was white and short with closely shaven black hair. He was aged in his 20s.

The passenger was in his 30s, white, of large build with black hair and stubble.

Both were wearing black combat style trousers.

It happened at around 5pm on Tuesday, March 13. Witnesses or anyone with information about the incident should contact PC Sarah Young on 101.
