Met Office warn of potential flooding
The Met Office has warned residents of the risk of flooding across the area on Monday.
Forecasters said a band of persistent heavy rainfall is expected to spread across parts of northern England during the day.
A yellow ‘be aware’ warning has also been issued for strong winds on Monday.
