Met Office warns of icy conditions
The Met Office has issued a weather warning of ice for tonight (Thursday).
A yellow ‘be aware’ warning said heavy rain was expected this evening and then temperatures were expected to drop, creating the risk of ice on untreated surfaces.
It added: “The public should be aware of the potential for some localised disruption to transport.”
