Pet workshop at 2pm at Pets at Home Wakefield

Wakefield Community Football Academy’s summer course from Monday, 18 until Friday 22 from 10am until 4pm daily (to book call Lee Vigars on 07730603555)

Children’s corner with books, games, dressing up and a chance to walk the labyrinth from 9am until 4pm at Wakefield Cathedral

Summer play scheme from 9.30am until 3.30pm at Sesku Academy, Burntwood Community Centre, South kirkby (children aged eight to 13)

Printmaking from 11am until 4pm at The Hepworth, Wakefield

Memorial garden and collages at the National Coal Mining Museum

Menagerie garden and summer house open to the public from 11am until 4pm at Nostell Priory

Craft actvities from 2pm until 3pm at Airedale Library

Fun with food from 10am until noon at Hemsworth Library (children aged eight and over, booking needed)

Wii fun from 4pm until 5pm at Stanley Library
