Move brings new jobs as orders roll in
Arrow Film Converters Ltd moved from Normanton to a new 30,000 square foot factory in Whitwood last month.
The company installed a £2m state-of-the-art flexographic printing press, a high speed laminator and £500,000 worth of ancillary equipment at the new facility.

Hide AdThe firm, which makes printed films for confectionery and fresh produce manufacturers throughout the UK, has received more than 100 new orders during the past week leaving them with no alternative but to start a second shift, meaning they will be producing on a 24- hour basis.
John Graham, managing director, said: “The machinery was commissioned and installed in record time, two weeks ahead of schedule.
“We are now filling the machines capacity extremely quickly.”
The company also plans to install another printing press during the next 18 months which will create a further 25 new jobs.

Hide AdMr Graham added: “This investment will enable us to grow substantially as a company.
“It will enable company sales to increase from its present £2.5 million a year to more than £15 million a year.
“It will also give the local economy a boost by creating another 25 jobs and also will give more business to local companies that will help with the installation of the new printing press.”
