National retail expert puts the spotlight on Wakefield

A national retail and commercial expert will be offering valuable insight and advice to local businesses as part of Welcome to Yorkshire's Lights, Camera, Action business workshop taking place at The Ridings Shopping Centre.

Kate Hardcastle, founding partner of Insight with Passion, will demonstrate how businesses can react to the changing needs of the customer, offering advice on improving customer service and increasing sales on Wednesday April 20.

The three-hour workshop, which takes place from 9.30am-12.30pm is free for Welcome to Yorkshire members and is ideal for all consumer facing businesses, particularly those in retail, manufactured goods, leisure, travel, food & drink and entertainment.

Since teaming up with Welcome to Yorkshire, Kate, who is respected nationally and internationally and is a regular contributor and industry commentator, has advised over 2,000 firms across the county.
