Wakefield Council is planning a new and improved café at Anglers Country Park.
The café will temporarily close from the end of today (Thursday, August 30).
People will still be able to buy drinks and snacks from vending machines in the Visitor Centre whilst plans are made for a new-look café.
Councillor Les Shaw, Cabinet Member for Corporate Services at Wakefield Council, said: “Anglers is very popular with families, especially since we introduced the Room on the Broom trail based on the popular book.
“We now want to look at how we can enhance the offer at the café, and we’d ask people to bear with us as we consider the best way to do this.”
