The Old Vic’s beer festival in Ossett is now underway
The O to K festival at the pub on Manor Road will showcase all the breweries in the Wakefield district.
And there is a chance to meet some of them tonight (Thursday) between 7pm and 9pm during a meet the brewers event.

Hide AdThe festival will also feature a very special anniversary ale from Ossett Brewery. The MMM seven percent IPA, which marks Ossett’s 3,000th brew, will be served from a wooden cask at the festival, which runs from now until Sunday.
The ale showcase will feature beers from all the breweries in the Wakefield district.
There will be beer from Bob’s Brewing, of Ossett; Bosun’s, of Horbury Bridge; Fernandes, of Kirkgate; Five Towns, of Outwood; Clark’s and Merrie City, of Westgate; and Tigertops, of Flanshaw.
James and Kirkman, of Pontefract; Hamelsworde, of Hemsworth; and Revolutions, of Whitwood will also feature on the bar.
Festival entry is free and live music will be provided by Sleep Junkie from 7pm on Saturday.
