Test explosion planned at Ferrybidge Power Station
A test explosion is being planned at Ferrybridge Power Station this week in preparation for the next stage of demolition.
Residents may hear the blast at one of the remaining chimney stacks which is planned for Friday, July 10 at 3pm.
People do not need to take any safety measures during the test. Those living in the Pollards Fields area should have received letters warning of the explosion.
