The closure is part of a Highways England project to widen the roundabout from three to four lanes.

During the closure there will be clearly signed diversions in place and all the existing lanes will remain open throughout the day to keep delays to a minimum.

Project Manager, Esref Ulas, said: “This overnight closure will allow us to install temporary safety barriers and narrow lanes which will minimise the disruption to motorists so we can maintain three lanes around the roundabout during the construction works and will also keep our workforce safe whilst they carry out this major improvement.”
