Pensioner dies days after he was hit by car
A pensioner has died days after he was hit by a car.
The 88-year-old man was injured during the incident on Flanshaw Road last Tuesday at about 1pm.
A Ford Focus, which was travelling towards Batley Road, struck the man as he tried to cross the road clode to the bend at the bottom of Flanshaw Road.

Hide AdPC Phil Stonebanks, of the Safer Roads and Neighbourhoods Team (East), said: “The injured man was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious injuries which he sadly died from on Sunday afternoon.
“I am appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident and witnessed the collision to come forward and speak to police.”
