Blue Peter badges for arty brother and sister, Daisy and Henry

Daisy and Henry, who attend Halfpenny Lane Junior, Infant and Nursery School, part of Pontefract Academies Trust, have been awarded with their very own badges from the show for their fantastic drawings.

Daisy drew a picture of all the presenters as well as the Blue Peter Ship and Henry drew a Remembrance Day Poppy and also a picture of the presenters. Big fans of the show, the children were over the moon with their prize.

Tom Fay, interim headteacher at Halfpenny Lane School said: “What a wonderful surprise and so well deserving too.

“The whole school is so proud of Daisy and Henry and I’m sure they’ll both treasure these badges for years to come.”
