Club's warning after increase in dogs fouling on pitch
An amateur rugby club has issued a reminder to dog walkers about cleaning up after their pets, after a rise in dogs fouling on the pitch.
Stanley Rangers ARLFC took to Facebook to remind their followers that they should not be allowing their dogs to go to the toilet on the pitch.
Sharing a photo of a dog's mess on the grass and a new banner reminding the public of the rules, the club asked residents to be sure that any dog mess produced on the site was bagged up and taken home for disposal.
The post read: “We have clear signage and enough on contending with rabbits mess so PLEASE don't let your dogs foul on the playing fields
"Bag it. Take it home. Bin it.
"Bins are not provided for poo they are for general rubbish."
