Brides and grooms to be who are looking to tie the knot can look at products and get advice at Ossett Town Hall’s first ever wedding fair.
The fair has been organised by The Grooms Rooms and Building Ossett Better (BOB).
John Whiteman, chairman of BOB, said: “When Stephen from The Groom Rooms approached us we swiftly agreed to support this idea for the good and benefit of Ossett.
“It fitted perfectly with the ethos of BOB in increasing footfall within the town as well as promoting local businesses.”
The fair will feature tables and decor to showcase the hall as a wedding venue, a display of vintage wedding dresses including one from the 1920s on loan from Wakefield Museum and more than 20 stalls representing different areas of the wedding industry
Event organiser, Michelle Dyson, said: “It’s been great bringing all the wedding sector businesses together to showcase what Ossett has to offer.
“A team of volunteers have worked so hard in getting ready for the weekend and ensuring all runs smoothly on the day.”
The event is at Ossett Town Hall on Sunday, March 1 from 11am to 4pm.
