Mecca Bingo Wakefield reopening tomorrow after fire forced it to close
Mecca Bingo is reopening tomorow (Saturday) after it was forced to close due to the Speedibake fire nearby last weekend.
Tomorrow, Mecca Bingo Wakefield is inviting their customers to join them for a free game of bingo, together with a complimentary buffet to celebrate their reopening following the recent evacuation and closure of the club.
It will open its doors with a celebratory afternoon spread and a free game of bingo, following its brief closure last week.
Players that visit the club during the evening of Saturday, February 15 will also be gifted a complimentary glass of fizz and a free game of bingo.
The club recently took the decision to close its doors for five days, to ensure the internal and external environment was safe and fully functional before it resumed operations, following the nearby fire.
Mel Kassim, General Manager at Mecca Wakefield, said: “We were very upset to have to close the doors to our fantastic customers, but we felt safety needed to be our main priority.
"Thankfully, the emergency services did an amazing job on the day and we’re very excited to be welcoming our customers back to Mecca Bingo Wakefield.
“We can’t wait to get the festivities started with some complimentary food and drinks and, of course, a free game of bingo.
"It’s our way of saying thank you to our very loyal and understanding customers."
The fun starts from 12pm, or 6pm in the evening.
To attend a Mecca Club, you do need to be aged 18 years or over and new customers must bring photo ID.
