Thursday, 27th February 2020, 11:22 am

Work is underway to introduce the system on the Bridge Road triangle, Horbury Bridge.

Heavy traffic has been reported in the area while work is carried out, with one driver reporting that it had taken them an hour to travel between Middlestown and Horbury on Monday morning.

Under the new scheme, which is expected to be completed in the coming days, a one way system will be introduced along Bridge Road, past the junctions with Storrs Hill Road and St John’s Street.
