Wakefield pub gets approval to hold weddings and civil ceremonies
A pub restaurant in Wakefield has been given permission to hold weddings and civil ceremonies on its grounds.
A certificate of lawfulness has been granted for the Holmfield Arms on Denby Dale Road to hold up to 35 of the events in a year.
The house, built in 1833, was once part of a 14-acre family estate and was given the go-ahead to be converted into a pub in the 1990s.
