Wakefield Council’s #ThankHoliday campaign encouraged people to get creative by using household objects such as books, toys, games and even socks, to spell out the words ‘Thank Holiday’ and then shared images and messages on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The campaign was such a success that #ThankHoliday was ‘trending’ on Good Friday on Twitter, meaning it was amongst the most popular world-wide tweets.
