The Card Factory's campaign has so far raised more than £13,000.

The current Guinness World Record for the largest thank you card stands at 239.95 square metres, and is held by Provident Housing Limited (India).

To break this record, Card Factory's attempt will need to measure more than 18 metres tall - around the length of a cricket pitch.

The card, which will be manufactured at the company's printing site near Bradford, will be assembled on site with the help of a crane.
