TV comedy star Bernard Wrigley will be raising laughs at The Red Shed this Saturday.
He will make a return visit to the club on Vicarage Street at 8pm on June 11 for a fun time of songs and stories.
The ‘Bolton Bullfrog’ is best known for his roles in shows such as Emmerdale, Phoenix Nights and Dinnerladies.
He will be blending tales of his career with his love of folk music for unforgettable entertainment.
Wakefield Labour Club secretary Richard Council said: “Last time he was here, The Red Shed was full. Everyone thought it was a really great night out. He gives everything in his performance a comedic twist.”
Tickets cost £10 and are available on the door but can also be bought beforehand by phoning the club on 01924 215626.
Trad Music, on Kirkgate, is selling tickets too. Call 01924 385000 during the daytime or 01924 383638 in the evening.
Meanwhile, Twisted Signal, a 70s inspired band, will play this Friday at The Red Shed from 8.30pm. Entrance to see them is free.
