Police appeal to trace wanted Knottingley man Carl Thomas Edwards

Police are appealing for information to trace Knottingley man Carl Thomas Edwards who is wanted on suspicion of threatening behaviour.

Edwards, 47, is also wanted for questioning on suspicion of breaching a restraining order, both in connection with incidents in December last year.

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall, of stocky build, with short light blond/ginger hair, which is slightly grey and balding.

Detective Inspector Steve Greenbank, of Wakefield District CID, said: “We have been conducting extensive enquiries to trace Mr Edwards but have so far been unable to locate him. We believe he is still in the Knottingley and Ferrybridge area and we would like to hear from anyone who has seen him or who knows his current whereabouts.

“I would also like to remind people that anyone who assists a suspect wanted as part of police investigation can face prosecution themselves.”
