Police appeal for witnesses after serious accident on M62
Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious accident on the M62 yesterday (Thursday).
A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision between a Vauxhall Astra and a Land Rover Discovery on the eastbound carriageway just after junction 33 at Ferrybridge.
The incident happened at around 5.50am and the motorway was closed for more than three hours.
