Police arrest two men stripping lead from Horbury church roof
Police have arrested two men who were caught 'lead-handed' stripping metal off a church roof.

Police were called after two men were spotted stealing lead from the roof of St Peters Church in Horbury this morning.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: "St Peters church Horbury- 2 males arrested after being caught stripping the lead from the roof #teamwork with divisional units"
Police were contacted by the fire service at 3.43am today (July 16) regarding a blaze at a property on Ashton Avenue in Harehills, where a sofa and a wooden pallet had been set on fire outside an unoccupied house.
