Police seize motorbikes as part of clampdown
Police seized two motorbikes that were being driven dangerously as part of a clampdown across the district.
Officers from Operation Matrix - West Yorkshire Police’s specialist off-road motorbike team - seized bikes from their owners in Normanton and in Agbrigg.
The seizures were part of a clampdown by police after a large amount of complaints about youths riding vehicles irresponsibly.
Acting Insp Mark Chamberlain, of Wakefield Central neighbourhood police team, asked anyone with any information about off-road motorbikes to contact police on 101.
