A small cannabis farm has been shut down by police.
Officers from the Wakefield Central neighbourhood policing team (NPT) raided the property on Balne Lane, Wakefield, on Tuesday afternoon.
A search warrant was obtained from Wakefield Magistrates Court and police seized 12 cannabis plants.
A full hydroponic set up was also taken by police.
Insp Mark Chamberlain, of Wakefield Central NPT, said: “We received community intelligence about a strong smell of cannabis coming from the property.
“The officers got a warrant to search the property and seized a dozen, mature cannabis plants. Enquires are on-going.”
