Feedback from the consultation has been reviewed and used to help prepare different options for the future of the town centre, residential and business land uses.

But due to the current fast-changing situation with the spread of coronavirus, planned consultation events have been cancelled.

Clare Elliott, Service Director for Economic Growth and Skills, said: “Unfortunately, we have had to make the difficult decision to postpone the Knottingley Masterplan consultation in response to the fast-changing situation regarding coronavirus.

“We will inform our residents as soon as we have new date for the consultation to begin.”
