Further 15 homes planned for former quarry land in Pontefract

Former quarry land in Ackworth is being earmarked for housing.

A planning application has been submitted by Strata Homes to build 15 homes on land off Wakefield Road.

They are in addition to the 280 homes approved on the site in 2014.

If approved, the homes will be accessed via Turnberry Avenue, and would be a mix of semi-detached and terraced, all having three bedrooms.
