Wakefield Council has been trying to save Pugneys Country Park after it said it could no longer afford to spend £260,000 each year to run it.

And to help it become sustainable the council has attracted new businesses to run new activities at the park.

The park will be split into seven different zones, each with their own attractions which will include zorbs, inflatable slides, an obstacle course and a nature zone to try and attract more families to the park.

The summer programme starts on Saturday, March 28.
